Dont you also go to the dentist every year?
Well yes, because there may be damage to my teeth. They are fundamentally different things. Going for a physical check on something that may have accumulated physical damage (and can be fixed easily) in a short time is very different than having your testosterone levels checked for generally arbitrary reasons that have a relatively small chance of ever happening to you, let alone it just being a check of hormone levels and nothing more
And the ‘remedy’ that exists for low testosterone, according to the FDA, is linked to heart failure, infertility and personality changes. So for many it is even a significant risk to use it. You’re far better off, you know, going to a therapist to establish depression when you think you have, rather than getting your testosterone levels checked for arbitrary reasons
The FDA? Thats a US agency. In my country they advocate lifestyle changes. Anyway, if you go to the gym its recommended to have your blood checked.
