Thank you! I’m getting mine done on the arteries and blood vessels of the brain too. Just wondering what to expect for it all, thank you!
Do they think you have high intracranial pressure? While they are up there they can measure your pressures. I was dx with Hydrocephalus and now have a Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt. It helps drain off access CSF.
I don’t think so. I had a brain bleed almost 20 years and I think they just want to do it to check everything is still all ok. I’ve had them before but this will be the first one I get while awake for the whole procedure.
Ok, gotcha. I hope it goes smoothly without any kinks.
Thank you! I heard there was no pain or discomfort but just wanted to hear experiences from people who actually had it done to confirm that 😂
Why is it being done on you?
Just pre cautionary measure. I’m getting it done on my brain so it’s slightly different to the one you had but I imagine the procedure it’s self is the same just in a different location.
Just before mine was done, an elderly lady had an angiogram on her brain. She also said no pain, no discomfort. I wish you and the results the very best.
Great, thank you so much! 😊
