Also, you metabolism might be faster than normal, so thats why you are eating the same "calories" of others and not getting the same results
I would suggest that you go to a nutritionist or even better... A nutrologist to help you get what you want

so exercise then but you are hitting the right ammount of calories and unless you want to be a full on weight lifter you won't need extra protein or anything...

well skinny fat, whatever that is, certainly sounds better than fat fat doesn't it?

That's the thing I do weight training
I was skinny once. So, I too started to work out (weight training) for a month. Also included chicken in my meal. Then after a month stopped it (workout) completely but continued to eat chicken (and regular meal). And it helped me to gain fat I needed. After that, I again started to work out and made that fat into muscles.So, you can try this method.
