Why are all my butt exercises going to my thighs?

All though I wanted to increase both butt and thigh size, the main thing I was working out for was increasing butt size but all that seems to be increasing is my thigh size.

Why?

I do squats, glute bridge, donkey kicks, fire hydrants, lunges ( although I dont know if I am doing them correctly) and sideway leg raises.
Why are all my butt exercises going to my thighs?
