I just read the post you were talking about. Definitely consider what she did a workout. I mean she walked 18 miles and for 8 hours.
That’s just a normal walking pace.

4 hours and no breaks, sounds like a big bladder as well ;)
Only results you’ll get from that will be paired with a healthy diet. You certainly won’t be gaining muscle.
Probably true, although, I’ve always eaten relatively healthily, have a fast metabolism, and have exercised some for my whole life- so I don't know what walking alone would do
It wouldn’t do anything. Also no such thing as fast metabolism. How much you burn is dependent on your weight, height and activity level.
I would definitely disagree. There was 6 months where I didn’t workout or do anything active and I ate a crap-Ton of food, and I somehow managed to lose a couple pounds
What I just told you is fact. If you lost weight it could be water weight, you could have lost muscle and gained fat. But it is a fact that how many calories you burn is dependent on those things.
If metabolism is not real, then why are places like Harvard publishing articles and studies about metabolism?
Not that metabolism isn’t real. But fast metabolism is not a thing. How much weight you gain or lose is based on your weight, age, activity level. It’s not a difficult thing to figure out. I shouldn’t have it to say it so many times just so you can believe your own bullshit.
Wrong. Your metabolism is MOSTLY dependent on genes. Your activity level and size has some effect on it, but some people truly have faster Metabolisms and others have slower. That doesn’t mean poor diets or lack of exercise won’t affect your metabolic rate though. Check your facts before you accuse people of being wrong.
What are you even talking about. Genes have an effect of where fat is stored. But for most people it’s dependent on age, diet, weight, activity level.
We are talking in circles. You can continue to believe your nonsense. I don’t really care.
I’d bet I know who it was too
