Is 1.5 cups of cooked white rice too much or fine when I’m trying to gain weight?

I’m basically bulking up for the first time and trying to eat more and healthy. I hear eating too much white rice causes diabetes so that’s why i dont know of 1.5 cups is too much or not. It works w my macros so that’s why I eat that much. You think it’ll be fine? Of course, I workout consistently.
