I'd suggest a holistic approach. You'd need to consider what your diet looks like to start with. I was working on losing some weight before I got covid earlier this year. My diet was very car-heavy and it caused me major problems losing weight. I reduced the carbs to protein and fats ratio and increased my protein intake. Its slow just using diet, but it was a start.
The next step is exercise but the key is not to do too much too fast. As you exercise the increased protein intake will help build new muscle/tone up existing muscles while the reduced carb intake will make your body start to burn its reserves. Cardiovascular exercise like walking is probably best to begin with. Just stay more than 3m apart and keep a mask handy. If you're outside and alone then you can usually be certain that people won't harass you for not wearing one.
Same as pre-covid, just take it slowly and listen to your body as you start.

Have eaten relatively ok and have started cutting out some foods, still have a pizza night with my daughter as a once a week treat.
Past 2 weeks have been doing basic home exercises, trying to do so avoiding the gym with covid about.
Good luck with your changes. Don't be hard on yourself if you slip up for a day or two

Booty workouts are mainly leg workouts, except for the calves maybe
Stronger, bigger, more muscular legs take up more blood pressure as they are some of the biggest muscles in your body (half your body pretty much), are good for your metabloism, and they're really good for weight loss as well, bigger legs take up more calories after all, and working them out wars up a lot of body fat
Google "benefits of having strong legs" on google, you'll find so many things people skip over or don't care much about, much more than just helping with weight loss, they're the best
I love to go hiking a lot.. Your away from people, get fresh air, get to see animals and nature. Good steep hills work your butt good. You just need to get proper outdoor clothing for all types of weather. The Ab lounger works great too and don't take up much space... pluss you can do it while you watch tv. Don't forget to get on a proper nutrition plan... and yes you will be eating more than you think you should. Starving doesn't work... you need nutrition.

Love hiking but I always have hip problems that for some reason pop up after a hike. Not heard of the ab lounge so ill add it to my list of things to look out for. Thank you for the feedback!
Well if this Covid stuff ever gets under control there are plenty of women's work out classes at local gyms that make working out more fun. In the meantime we just got to keep doing what we gotta do lol.

Would be nice to get into the routine of exercise before gyms open but I fully agree haha
First, look at the diet. Are there healthy swaps to make? Portion sizes to reduce? Then look at exercise, and again what simple changes can you make. Can you find anyone giving away exercise equipment nearby if you don't go to the gym. I'm in the same boat. Good luck

Have started making those changes and writing them down seems to help. Good luck!

when i got to 50 i cut all refined sugar from my diet... within weeks the fat was dropping off me whilst i actually ate more calories in a day. also i feel healthier both physically and mentally. i would advise you at least take a look at it as it may work for you too

Got nothing to be sorry about. You can work out at home or in your neighborhood. You can ride a bike, pushups, sit ups, lunges, running, jogging, walking, mountain climbers, planks, side planks and variations of it, swimming if you have a pool, etc.

You should control your diet, do some work out at home. Do push up, take long walks. You don't need a gym for weight lifting. Get some bricks and cider blocks and start lifting. I think you can do it. Oh I think you should have a wirk out partner to keep the routine going
