Girls, what are some good stomach and legs/thighs exercises?

I am a dancer and the type of dance I do requires a lot of leg strength, but I dont want to look bulky so I do these

for legs: squats, sumo squats, squats with pulses, lunges, pulsing lenges, lunges switches, weighted squats, Bulgarian squats, wall sits, clams, inner thigh pulses, calf up and downs and ankle balance stregntheners. it helps when think of working on my legs in sections like, thigh section, butt section, inner thigh section, outer thigh section, calves, and ankles.

that sounds like a cool workout routine i jog a lot personally how do you deal with the soreness?

I know the pain! I will do a quick stretch before running, and then a really good stretch afterwards. i recommend getting a foam roller for stretching after, its done wonders for me! also you will build up to the running overtime and the soreness will go away.

It depends what you’re fitness goals are. If you’re looking to tone up I would recommend full body compound movements like squats lunges etc.

Running will definitely get you toned ( I find it hard on the knees though the impact, I prefer biking) but if you’re looking to improve the overall shape of your body I would recommend body weight exercises or light weights. Low weight high reps I promise you won’t get bulky!
