I used to get panic attacks all the time, but they never affected me physically too badly. I might get shaky and clammy, but normally they were more of a mental experience than physical.
But today I woke up having a panic attack and I couldn't get myself out of it. My heart was pounding like crazy, I felt weak and exhausted, and I was way too warm. I started to get dizzy and nauseous and eventually had to grab a bucket.
I know this can happen with high anxiety, but I haven't met someone else who's had an attack that effected them so physically.
