Workout of the day? What’s everyone doing?

•8 mile ruck w/35 LB, trying to do this under two hours.

For those of you that do not know what a “ruck” is, it’s basically a type of backpack that the military uses to carry all sorts of gear during missions, operations, etc.

Ruck marches are walks or bikes wearing a ruck. There are times when you have to get to point A to point B in a certain amount of time with gear on so that’s why I’m trying to do this fast/under the time I’ve allotted for this. If I cannot, then I’ll train up to it, but I’ll still complete the 8 miles fast.

After this, I’ll do bleacher runs. I haven’t done these before, but what you do is run up the bleachers like you would an incline treadmill or hill. Hill sprints basically. I’ll do several reps of this

Then finish off the day with a 6-7 mile run.

Might do some weight training after
