This mixture will help to alkalize your body and kill germs:
Measures are approximate:
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (ACV)
1/2 cup lemon juice
dash of cinnamon
dash of cayenne pepper
honey to taste (if you like your drinks sweet, you may need a lot)
You can make this drink warm as a tea, or dissolve the honey in a small amount of warm water and chill as an "iced tea".
Drink as much as you can at first sitting. After you make more, then sip throughout the day.
Immediately (do now), just before bedtime and upon rising in the morning:
In a tablespoon, add a teaspoon of honey and fill the rest of the spoon with ACV, then swallow.
At night, if your throat also hurts and/or if you're congested, rub Vicks Vapor Rub on your throat and chest, wrap your neck in a scarf, wear a shirt to bed and sleep with the covers over your head (or use a humidifier) to ensure the recirculated air stays moist.
These methods work for me every time. I always take my concoctions above at the very first sign of a cold. If yours has progressed, it may take a day or two or three to see results. But stick with it if you can. Also try to get lots of rest. Good luck.

Make sure you're well hydrated. Have something like four servings of chicken soup a day and drink plenty of fluids. Just no caffeine! Get enough vitamin c and most importantly, rest, rest, rest!
Eat nothing but healthy, unprocessed foods. Eat sparsely. Drink lots of water. Stay in bed / rest all day. Get lots of sleep. Open the window and get fresh air. Spend time with people you love and try to keep yourself occupied and having a good time. You will get better.
maybe it's just me, but I down a lot of orange juice and bundle up to sweat it out. it seems to work for me when I need to recover from a flu or cold fast.

Drink lots of water (room temperature) and hot tea and sleep or nap a lot. You can take some NSAIDs (paracetamol or ibuprofen) if you have a nasty headache or fever, if it isn't really bothering you that much I suggest don't take them.

omg me too! I got some random cold today wtf! my mom makes this secret recipe tea with like ginger mint lemon peel and spices like clove and it works wonders! also chicken noodle soup and take a warm bath or shower feels so amazing!
