I was a varsity sprinter/distance runner (I ran 4x100s and 400s) in my freshman year, but I had to quit because it conflicted with my other sports. Our track practices, especially for distance, were always quite strenuous and I really did not like the throwers because I thought they were lazy. I mean, while we were running miles and sprinting for ages, they were just throwing stuff. Sure, they're strong but I felt like we were doing harder work. Then again, that was just my school, so maybe it's different in other places. But all the distance and sprinters perceived them as the people who were too lazy to run. But throwing takes a lot of hard work too...we just don't see it at my school, compared to what we had to do :P

My recollection from my track days is that the hotter girls were not the throwers. Maybe you're an exception.
I think she's a girl who does things that make her happy.
