Is this good diet, will I lose much weight?
I eat whatever I want in a healthy balanced diet. I also snack on healthy snacks and also not so healthy snacks. you should count calories or do weight watchers. I've done both but weight watchers is better for me. its going to do more for you than trying to find magical diets to make you lose weight. if you restrict the amount of food (and not simply adjust the types of food your eating and watching unhealthy fats, calories, etc.) then I think you're going to have a harder time keeping it off unless you plan to eat like that the rest of your life. if you eat like a small rodent now, then plan to eat that way always. if you get to your goal weight eating like this and then suddenly start eating like a healthy human adult, you will gain weight. I promise you.
I eat a lot. I'm a vegan (have been for a long time, but that has nothing to do with my fatness) but I eat a lot of food. I've been losing weight consistently. its harder now, because I don't exercise much/at all. I've lost 35 pounds on weight watchers so far and I haven't lost any weight in the past couple weeks. I'm going to try to up my workout (or like, start working out at all lol - I hate exercise)
to be honest, this does not sound like a healthy diet at all. I can't really imagine that you're getting your nutrients. you haven't even gotten half your recommended servings for fruits and vegetables. the bread you're eating probably isn't the best kind of bread for you, so I doubt you're getting whole grain goodness. watch the butter. I don't know how much protein is in two eggs, I know they are packed with protein but all/most of the protein that an adult human needs for the entire day? probably not. no multivitamin. if anything, nutritionists and fitness peeps recommend that you eat consistently throughout the day in small meals. there are a million ways to do it. in the end, as long as you're decreasing calories (or "following points" for ww) at the end of the day, you'll lose something by the end of the week. unless you need extra help. I know my doctor has told me that I'm genetically predisposed to being fat and explained all this sh*t about my body demanding a huge amount of chemical action from my pancreas. pancreas can't keep up = I'm a fattie for life.
anyway, different ways. one method for some people is to eat huge breakfasts and then smaller meals/meals with lower calorie/points values the rest of the day. that's what I do. I've tried eating small breakfasts, sometimes I do, but usually I do better if I eat a huge breakfast. other people may not benefit from that at all, but the proof is in the pudding and I'm gonna keep doing what works for me, as long as I get all my nutrients and I'm having a good balance of things.
you should use caloriecount.com to watch your nutrients. although I'm no longer counting calories as my method, I still like to watch how many nutrients I'm getting and I like their pie charts and graphs and they grade your food ha ha :)
This is a terrible diet. It's not enough food for you to eat, you need more in the day or your body will just stop functioning properly to keep the most urgent functions going.
Try to incorporate more healthy fruits and veggies into your diet. These can be side dishes or snacks and veggies/fruits are low calorie and will fill you up more.
Your body won't lose weight on this diet, it will stop you from losing weight because your body will slow your metabolism down and go into starvation mode.
The best thing to do is to eat healthy foods, figure out what portion sizes you should be eating. Buy a scale to weigh your food, look for healthy recipes, learn how to cook things so that you are able to control what you are putting into your food.
The problem with diets is that they are temporary. You go on them, then start to hate the diet and then once you reach your goal you revert back to the old ways and gain it all back (and sometimes more)!
To combat this you have to make permanent changes and be committed to losing weight and keeping it off the healthy way.
Do a variety of exercises, including strength training. These are often missed by many people because they think they will bulk up. That is not true because people have to work really hard to put on muscle.
Basic daily metabolic rates = For women.
Age 18 - 5' tall - weighing only 100lbs - sedentary lifestyle = 1545 calories per day.
Note 5' tall and 100lbs is hardly someone who needs to lose weight anyway.
Age 24 - 5' tall - weighing only 100lbs - sedentary lifestyle = 1511 calories per day.
Age 18 - 6' tall - weighing only 100lbs - sedentary lifestyle = 1613 calories per day.
Note 6' tall and 100lbs is hardly someone who needs to lose weight anyway.
Age 24 - 6' tall - weighing only 100lbs - sedentary lifestyle = 1579 calories per day.
Age 18 - 5' tall - weighing only 200lbs - sedentary lifestyle = 2067 calories per day.
In other words, it is simply IMPOSSIBLE for a woman, aged 18-24, who lives the laziest sendentary type of lifestyle, to only need 1400 calories a day and still need to lose weight.
That is what I mean when I say I have my doubts about your figures.
From 18-24, as you get older, your calorie rate decreases.
From 5' to 6' it increases, but not by much.
And by far the largest contributor is your own weight. If you're overweight enough to need to lose weight, then there is simply NO WAY your daily metabolic rate is 1400 calories.
It's impossible. Pure and simple.
My weight is 119Ibs and I'm 163 cm tall and I want my weight to be 103Ibs. When I go to college I sit all day while lessons , and when I come back home I spend time reading books or watching TV ,or using computer.. so I don't move much. And I don't do any sport , I only go for a walk with friends sometimes. So I guess I still don't burn many callories? But yes I did mistake couting it obviously
Problem is that I really eat a lot, really I could eat 2 chocolates at once, or all big pizza alone. That's why I don't lose weight and I'm surprised I'm still not very fat because I should be because I eat so many. So you think I should exercise? that's good idea, I will do it then.
And is this good to eat eggs on a diet? because I have doubts, and I like eggs a lot .
You say you eat a lot, but you're obviously not putting on a lot of weight from what you're eating.
So believe it or not, what you're eating (while being unhealthy perhaps) is perfectly fine for your size and lifestyle.
Eat healthier, and a little bit less, and you'll have a perfectly fine diet. Cut out the junk food, type of thing. Nothing too drastic. And yes, eggs are fine. You don't have to worry about cholesterol levels at your age and weight.
Exercise lightly to start.
Okay first off, what are your stats and any issues with hormones like thyroid? If that's what you think you will eat for months on in then you'll be crawling with no energy. You cannot avoid eating all together. A few years back well two years and a few months my ex wife before she left consistently tried to diet like your doing with no success. Message your stats (weight, height etc) or here whatever then I can break it down for you...First decrease breads, breading, high fructose corn syrup is a big problem with my clients. I don't want to give advice if your 90lbs trying to lose more weight either. The stigma on thin females is overwhelming.

That's bullsh*t. First off, this is sh*tty exercice. You won't burn calories by walking and doing aerobic (I'm guessing you're doing some elliptical and that's some poor, pointless exercice). Secondly, you're not eating enough. If you were to work out hard enough to burn some serious calories (which you aren't with those activities you're doing), you wouldn't even have enough energy to do so. No energy to workout, no calories burnt. Simple as that. Thirdly, you're lacking so much stuff in your "diet" that your body will do anything to keep whatever you're eating so to feed itself, so NO, you're not likely to lose weight. Even if you do, it won't last for sure and it's going to be pointless because you'll in gain back as soon as you eat normally again - and let's be real, you can't eat like that forever. Nobody could make it. You seem to be trying to lose weight as fast as possible and not of that crap works anyway. If you're serious about it it's gonna take months, not days, and this is definitely not the right way to go about it. You've got some great advice below from people who know what they're talking about.
Breakfast- not enough calories. The peach is great, but adding in maybe a cup or 1/2 cup of oatmeal made with skim milk and cinnamon would be better. Fiber, protein and carbs- that's what you want to strive for.
Lunch- no skipping meals. Always follow the equation of fruit, veggies, whole grain and protein. The majority of your plait should be veggies, followed by whole grain, then fruits, then protein.
It could look something like this- half a turkey sandwich made on whole grain bread, side of veggies (raw or steamed), and a piece of fruit.
Dinner- follow the same equation. Instead of bread, try brown rice or quinoa.
That is not a diet.
Far too many people don't understand the most basic rules of nutrition, and screw up their body metabolism trying to rush losing weight.
What you're proposing there is a starvation diet. It will screw up your body, and *ultimately* leave you putting more weight on.
Do not be stupid about this. Eat 3 healthy balanced meals a day. Reduce your calorie intake to about 500 less per day than you need, and do some light to moderate exercise.
Then you will lose weight.
i used calories calculator, and person like me burn about 1400 calories per day. So how many calories should I eat to lose weight ?
Let's just say I have my doubts that any normal person only burns 1400 calories a day.
The average girl burns 2000.
The heavier you are, the more you burn, because in just basic day-to-day movements, you are carrying more weight around than the normal person. Plus, the more unhealthy you are the higher your heart rate and hence the higher your "resting" metabolic rate.
I think it is far more likely that you burn more than 1400, and that you just don't know how to calculate it correctly.
But if you're absolutely adamant that you're only burning 1400 a day... well that's already very very low. I would recommend that you stay at 1400 calories a day, but change what you eat.
Much more proteins, more polyunsaturated fats, a few complex carbohydrates. Stay away from trans-fats, empty calories like soda and beer.
And then work hard on building up your muscle mass. Use strength/resistance training to increase your muscles. Not only will the exercise help you burn more calories, but
the more muscle mass you have on your body, the more your basic metabolic rate will increase (and so the more calories you will burn per day, just by existing and breathing)
If your daily rate really was around 1400 (and I doubt that, I really do) then putting some muscle on should bring that back to a healthy level.
A daily MBR of 1400 calories is simply too low to result in weight loss by dieting. You need exercise, and a change of diet.
That will cause your body to go in starvation mode, and will actually make you GAIN more weight when you start eating regularly.
That is bullsh*t.
The only way to lose weight is to spend more calories than consumed, and it always will be "starvation"
Some people are genetically "doomed" to be fat, their metabolism rate is sh*tty and they HAVE to watch what they eat and they have to make exercise as irreplaceable part of their mundane life and only then they might slim up - so no "traits" or "cheating" or then there are also no results.
That's a terrible diet. You need to eat sensibly. Vegetables, sensible portions of protein, and reasonable amount of calories. That diet will screw up your metabolism and make you sick.
Take away butter and double the exercise time after dinner and then you should have results.
thats not a diet, its severe undereating.
are you on a starvation diet?
