Why are people so hypocritical these days?

I have been having trouble with a few people at work lately. They all acuse me of behaving a certain way or acting or speaking in a certain when they do the exact same thing. Sometimes they do it even more than me.

People (this one guy in particular) have been on my back lately saying that I will end up falling for this new girl at work who is a player. They say I am weak and I like her and want to get with her. When in reality these guys (especially the same guy in particular) is the one who always flirts with her, reaches her for hugs, calls her his wife and even starts poking her in places such as her p***y and butthole.

Why are people so quick to judge others without realizing they are doing the exact same thing?

Judging by what you've said about him, I believe the answer to your question is "because some people are stupid and make no sense." Why would they practice what they preach if they're not even smart enough to make the connection?

I'm curious as to why the hypocrisy is bothering you more than him touching her inappropriately at work...

Because I don't care about him touching her inappropriately at work. That's their business. Plus she seems to enjoy it, just like she seems to enjoy every bit of attention she gets from any guy. The hypocrisy is bothering me because people are accusing me of things when they can't even see that they are guilty of the exact things they are accusing me of.

Would it affect you if you decided to not care? You could say that their hypocrisy is also only their business, unless they're accusing you to your boss or something.

And speaking of the boss, they probably don't want their employees doing dumb sh*t like that. If she didn't enjoy it, the situation would be very different.

They are accusing me to my boss. My boss and I and a few select others go out for drinks every now and then and they decided to tell me all about this situation. My boss doesn't really care about things like that happening tbh. She finds it rather amusing. A lot of stories go around in our workplace.

Jeez I would go crazy if my workplace was that unprofessional :P You wouldn't be in this situation if there were better rules and they were enforced. Unless you DO work at a strip club or something, I guess.

Okay, I've never heard of a guy poking a girls butt and hole at work. Some professional environment that is. Must be a strip club.

These people all of them sound stupid.

He know that he has no chance with her. Poking and abusing her in public is showing his lack of self respect and education.

Just remember one thing. He is thinking about her. He is thinking about her a lot, too much, obsession. Do you feel me?

Because it's much easier to focus on others than yourself. Isn't it easier to give advice than take it? "Dude, don't call her," while you're dialing your own female friend?
