How would you react to your managers telling you that the other one really really likes you a lot?

Recently I was cornered by my managers while at work. Who then let me know that that the other manager next to him. Really likes me. I thanked them for the compliment and tried to return to my work. Then my main manager stopped me by saying no, you don't understand. He (insert other managers name) really really likes you a lot. I pause while I look at both of them. The other manager is just standing there with no expression on his face what so ever. I then respond with that's great good to know. This time returning to work successfully this time. The other manager has been flirting with me a lot or being overly friendly. He remembers past conversations that are non work related. I don't normally work with this particular manager on a regular basis. He goes out of his way to chat with me when he sees me at work. After returning to work. He responds to the other mangers comment by saying, why would you say something like that to her for anyway? Then they walk off in conversation about what just took place. Awkward moment at work really...by the way the manager who really really likes me wears a wedding ring. So I assume he's married. So for the other manager to say something out of the blue like this makes no sense. Did I miss something completely here? I just pretended like nothing happened and haven't brought it up since while at work. Nothing more has been said since the awkward moment. What do you make of this blunder in the work place?
