In this day and age, the computer allows people in general to get more dopamine release than has otherwise been historically possible. In all of human history up until now, the release of neurotransmitters responsible for pleasure has been carefully regulated by physical activity or actual achievement. Now we are like mice where you can simply press a button and get that same release. Repeated and long term exposure to things like this (especially sexual things) have been shown to have an adverse affect on the brain.
Check his internet history and I guarantee there's a lot of p*rn there. If you can get him to quit jerking off, he won't leave you alone.
I suppose my thought is, does it make a difference? That is, whether he doesn't want to have sex with you because he doesn't find you physically attractive or he doesn't have interest in sex, the results are the same. There's no reason to assume the situation will change. Are you comfortable continuing in the relationship if sex is off the table?
