Why doesn't he make eye contact?

There is this italian food restaurant in which I occasionally go to. I've notice that when I buy food to take out, the guy who bags it to give it me never looks me straight in the face. I once heard a female worker telling h I m to stop being nervous and to go give her the food she ordred, I'm not sure if it was about me. When J walk out,throughh the reflection of the door I can see him staring at me. He seems to not pay me any mind and always looks when he passes me my bag, and never makes eye contact wi t h me,but its always when I leaving I see him staring at me through the reflection of the window ir doir. what's with that?

It could mean that he is just shy. Or it could also mean that he has a thing for you as well. I am a shy guy myself and I know I tend to not make eye contact with girls. When I do making eye contact I usually break eye contact pretty quickly.

If you see him around a lot, the next time you two look at each other you should maybe try and give him a small but subtle smile and look away or at your friends or something.. This is how I usually flirt with girls since I am a shy guy hahah.. Also if he is a shy guy and he does smile back and you two keep glancing at each other whilst smiling and pretending to talk with your friends or something then this is a "really really good sign". If he does this then most likely he is into you a lot! I know this because I usually only do this to the girls I like or am really interested in. Good luck with your eye flirting hahah.

He likes you so much that it has become painful to even look at you. It happens!

If he has his name written on his shirt, just go "thank you, XXXXX". That will be a change!

Or instead of ordering your usual stuff, just ask him what would he recommend you and maybe he'll open up more. If he gets stuck just go "which kind of coffee/soup/cake/ice-cream is your favorite? I wanna try it out"

But he definitely likes you.

Some people have social anxiety and it's not necessarily directed at you but may be an issue he has. I've known people who get nervous at the slightest human interaction

men who don't show eye contact have low confidence and self esteem, I would know because I am the same. he may stare at you when you are not looking because he might fancy you

well he could still have lack of confidence, a women's beauty can be intimidating to men, however its only intimidating if he lacks confidence and low self esteem

Eye contact is not necessarily related to health esteem or self confidence. There are a million and one reasons why. The importance of eye contact varies depending on the culture they were raised in, vision issues, or even neurological sensory ones. Throwing blanket statements like that around only perpetuates myths.
