Why do we treat animals better than humans?

The medical system in the United States is disgusting. It's good at treating traumatic injuries such as broken bones but when it comes to diseases and cancer all we do is cause people to suffer. Saw my friends mom in the hospital she was given one month to live and they are still making her do physical therapy when she can't even walk. What's the point if she only has one month? My uncle to was taken away much faster because of the chemo which killed him not the cancer. They like to drain the insurance money and that's it they don't care about the people.

animals are way accepting to people then people are toward other people some people can be very judgmental and when the doctor sees barley half of the family care or show up to see the patient the doctor doesn't take it seriously he feels the less the family cares the less he or she has to care and simply gives up once the family has notice that if a person fights and demands everything given to be done in a medical situation and gets on the doctor the more the doctor cares but sometimes as sad as this is for me to say some doctors couldn't careless about anything but the money and there own lives it's sad and im sorry you had to go threw that and sorry about your friends mother but im glad there doing anything and everything to help her i rather see people give there all then just let a good person suffer or deal with pain

Well first of all animals are cuter. Second your friend's mom could say no to the physical therapy and simply not do it and that would be the end of that. Third your uncle died of cancer, not chemotherapy; it weakens people yes and sometimes you die anyway but there was a chance of curing him or extending his life. He also chose to go through with it, many people don't.

They absolutely do care about the people there and being a nurse or a doctor is a hell of a job and takes a lot out of you. It's not fair to them to generalize, although your anger is understandable. The system IS fucked up, but that's because it makes people choose between their health and life-long debt, which is inhuman. You're lucky they had insurance and could get any care in the first place.

You are wrong it was chemo. Chemo kills more people than cancer. Cancer WILL NOT kill you unless there is a tumor on a vital organ and interferes with breathing or what not. Steve Jobs lived 7 years with Pancreatic cancer the most dangerous cancer using natural treatments and then decided chemo and died from chemo not cancer.

What you're saying is ignorant. You're saying not only American cancer medicine is false, but the entire world's treatment for cancer is actually murder. Don't think for a second that you have a better idea of what's going on than all of the medical scientists in the world who are working very hard to cure the disease. Not to mention you have a much higher chance of surviving cancer now than you did three decades ago, and I'm pretty sure they had natural 'treatments' back then too, so how do you explain it?

Cancer left untreated will grow or spread and kill you, almost certainly.

The whole world doesn't use Chemo alternative treatments exist in Germany and in Europe and Mexico and are banned in the US because its all a business. Without cancer there would be no cancer clinics, etc.
