I used to be huge. I was really fat up until maybe 5 years ago when I changed country and had to change my diet because of the local food. So of course, whenever I see those yummy food I used to like and eat, I'd have a really hard time controlling myself.
Usually I give in. But the secret is in moderation. You can eat WHATEVER you want. But don't overeat. Satisfy your craving, eat other stuff along with it (keep it healthy), and in the end you've had your fill with something you like and something that's good for you.
I'm actually the same, I like fried food, meat, and sweets. I still eat them regularly, but not the same amount or quality. Most of the times I make my own, so I can control what goes into my body.
A great way to decrease guilt is to have a Detox Day or two. Usually, after I do a detox, my crazvings drastically fall and I end up eating REALLY healthy foods for a while. Try it!

My weakness is anything salty and crunchy, and anything chocolate. Fresh hot tortilla chips with salsa or guacamole, fresh roasted peanuts, crunchy chocolate bars... stuff like that.
Baked goods like cookies, bread, cakes, etc. Actually pretty much anything sweet. That's why I had to cut sugar out of my diet completely. I have no self control when it comes to sweets. Also peanut butter. I could probably eat a whole jar of peanut butter in one day if I didn't control myself.

My inner fat kid isn't just fat, she's morbidly obese. I definitely gorge on chocolate but really with any food I like I end up eating way too much of it.
Yay, you're Canadian so you can understand this. I. Love. Poutine. I always try not to each it too much but it's just so amazing. I went to Montréal for march break so you can understand that it was like poutine heaven for me there. So f*cking good. What can I say, poutine runs in my blood.
My inner fat kid is obsessed about chocolate and ice cream. And brownies. And cookies. Basically anything that contains chocolate.
My inner fat kid loves strawberry swirl cheesecake. Thankfully I also love the gym so I can both eat the cheesecake in mass and still be an inner fat kid, not an outer one. Although to be honest, cheesecake is not helpful for an effective workout :p
