What kind of workouts can I do to get ripped for the summer, taking into account that I'm recovering from a rotator cuff injury?

I've put on some pounds this winter and I'm looking to get into better shape for the summer. I'm not technically over weight, but I've lost some of that muscle definition. I tore my rotator cuff and had surgery a couple months back, so I can't really be lifting much weight. I'm really not a fan of running, but I have started doing it more frequently. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Something that will work my chest and won't cause my arm to fall off at the shoulder?

I got the surgery between Christmas and New Years because I was off of work anyways. I've gone through physical therapy, and the doctor says that things have actually been healing really well. I feel pretty good, but I do not want overdo it.
