Tis the season of giving! However, you don't have to let your desire to give gifts hurt your wallet.

Here are 10 inexpensive gift ideas to cover everyone on your list!

1. DIY Sugar Scrub

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas!

Here are the ingredients you will need:

A mason jar, or other container to put the finished sugar scrub in for gifting!

1/2 cup sugar (white or brown sugar) - This gives you the scrubbing power
1/2 cup oil (olive oil and coconut oil work great) - To moisturize

Food colouring (optional) - To give it some colour

Essential oils of your choice - These are to make it smell nice! But totally optional!

Mix all the ingredients together. You may need to heat up Coconut oil if it is not already in the liquid form. You can find Coconut oil in most grocery stores either in a jar or a glass bottle much like olive oil. You can either save mason jars from home, or you can buy them at the dollar store :)

Essential oils: These are not mandatory for this recipe, but I thought I would list some suggestions:

- Mint - Sandalwood

- Lavender - Ginger

- Eucalyptus - Lemon

4. Snack Gift Basket

Wouldn't you love to open this present!?

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas!

This is one of my favourite gifts to give as it is easy to do, affordable and usually goes over quite well.

All I do is head to the Dollar Tree and Grocery store and I pick up the person's favourite treats. I grab a basket or bin from the Dollar Tree, the wrapping from there as well and put it all together.

The great thing about this gift idea is that you can customize it for any person. So if you have a health food junkie on your list, you can buy based on things that they would enjoy versus just having to stick with junk food!

5. DIY Snow Globe

For this DIY gift you can personalize it however you like. But there are a few things you will need:

- Fake snow

6. DIY coupons for the person who has everything!

Have someone hard to buy for and not sure what to get them? Why not gift them a pack of DIY coupons.

You can create them either using online templates or making them in a word document and printing them out. Some ideas for the coupons: 1 dinner on me, I'll take out the garbage, 1 night free babysitting, 1 free back massage, a homemade dinner of your choice or help painting a room.

8. Create something just for them!

Do you have a unique talent? Are you an artist or a musician? Are you a poet? Create something for that special person on your list.

If you are an artist, make them a print or paint them a picture that they can cherish forever. If music is more your thing, then make them a playlist of your favourite songs or musicians you think they would love. If you are feeling really ambitious write them their own song! Or even write a poem for them.

9. Winter Survival Kit!

It's cold outside, and inside it's dry. The environment can be very harsh this year. So why not gift those on your list a Winter Survival Kit!

All you need is a mason jar, cookie tin or other container to put your survival items. Things you can include in your kit:

- Lip Balm

- Hot Chocolate or Tea

- Hand Sanitizer

- Hand Moisturizer

- Cough Candies

- Fuzzy Socks

- A pair of mittens

10. DIY Rice Heating Pad

These things are so useful! And they are fairly easy to make too!

You can put these in either the microwave or freezer depending on your need and they have so many different uses!

There are many ways to make them. I've seen them made from fuzzy socks (and then just tie the end!). I've also seen them like above made from pieces of fleece and then you just cut little tabs and tie them together!

You can put rice in them and even add some essential oils!
