What do you get your children, little nieces and nephews for Christmas?

Though we lost their mom before our wedding date was finalized, I'm still on good terms with her two (now adult) children, and her daughter, now 22, still calls me dad, and comes too me for fatherly advice now and then.
I gave them each, 10 ounce silver bars and some one ounce silver eagles and prepaid debit cards for their shopping conveniences, because I would be deluding myself too believe that I am hip and current on what their generation likes most, so this way, they can buy what they want, as my grandparents did for me way back when.

I got a dog story book for my niece and nephew who both have the same parents and I got a sea life colouring book for the daughter and a rainforest colouring book for the son // For my neighbour’s kids who visit us on a monthly or weekly basis, I sharpened my coloured pencil crowns so that they can draw pictures when they visit me at my home while my dad is talking to their father // I got my dad a hickory cheese basket and I got my mom a gardening tool set

I used to just give them money however if they were a baby baby I would then buy them something like clothes or a toy
