This is not particular to Muslim men. Plenty of fundamentalist Christian sects teach the same, except without the polygamy.

'Do not beat women?" Plenty of Christian men do indeed beat their wives and their children. It's not uncommon for abused wives in fundamentalist churches to be counseled to stay with abusive husbands.
It's true that female circumcision is not a Christian practice. Nor is it universal in Islam.
Any man who beats his wife is not a Christian.
That is a sick way to try to justify or defend the beating of women by Muslim men Mr Slat.

Oh, the "No true Christian" argument -- if someone behaves in a negative way, despite their claiming to be a Christian, they aren't really Christian. Thus by definition all Christians are good people, although there are very few. Whatever. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, all have a good number of abusive men.
I'm not justifying spousal abuse, and don't support corporal punishment of children. I'm just arguing that claiming that Christians are more virtuous than Muslims is debatable.
I prefer a more equal partnership situation in terms of polyamory. Empowered women are better company and more motivating to be around. I don't like 24 7 subservience, I like badass valkerie women.
Have you read the quran. You can only know by reading for yourself. Just like understanding any biblical text you have to read it all to understand what is actually being said

Brother, you can't even write correctly and cohesively on here. It's very difficult to follow you because you are all over the place. However, I disagree. Not all women are selfish. You need to correct that and say all the women you have been around are selfish. Then you need to evaluate yourself to see when this women are selfish around you.
That's has not been my total experience. I have seen and experienced many women that are so selfless it hurts my soul that they get used as a doormat for other people's benefit. They give and give until they have nothing left. And I've seen where men have been even more selfish than women are. But again, it's an individual basis type situation like ALL cases pertaining to the human race. Learn about human psychology and behavior. You will understand those simple concepts. It's just a fact you can sit and observe people to understand those concepts.

Nothing wrong with women wanting to be a wife and a mother. However they don't give the women a choice in the matter, your female you get sold of to a male to be a wife so you can have their kids regardless of the womens own wants and desires.
I know their culture is different along with many other " beliefs" they have. I disagree with most of them but it's not for me to decide.
That book is written in ~1000 AD, never changed, so at that age it was seen as normal to them.
