If divorce is so common, should we stop marrying for passion?

Feelings are fleeting which is why divorce are so common. You marry at 30, then divorced at 45. By 45, most divorcees are old and have given up on looking for a long term relationship so they just want flings. This is just the unspoken reality of things.

So in in order to have a long standing marriage , should people stop marrying for passion / feelings? Should we just marry off of compatibility or arraigned marriages?

Let’s face it, if we don’t have marriage. There would be no families, your kids won’t have cousins, you will die alone, you won’t have “family” other than your kids or your parents
