Also, these rings range from $50 - $200 (both rings) and they're from Etsy. The mm can be adjusted (so it's bigger for the guy's hand and smaller for the girl's).
For true love it really doesn't matter, I've known people who got engaged on plastic rings out of a cracker jack box. The wedding ring is what should be nicer but also not a good idea to start off pricy. I say get a nice fancy set at the 10 year anniversary.
I know someone who had a super nice wedding ring and it put the marriage in extreme stress the first several years as they started off in massive debt from that and her Cinderella wedding. 15 grand between the two... geez.
If you want historical, just tie a little rope around the fingers... lol.

My wife and I bought a triple-ring thats made of yellow, white (platinum), and rose (copper) gold. The three rings roll within each other. Turn one of them backwards and the ring (s) won't go onto your finger.
She like yellow gold. I like white gold. And the Rose gold... is for the Rose of Sharon (Jesus) who's at the center of our marriage. I saw a pic of them on Etsy for $650.00.
None of the above. I would get a tungsten ring. They are even more scratch resistant and better properties pretty much all across the board than titanium and just as affordable. If you get tungsten it'll last pretty much forever.
I have a ring maker who is going to have rings made from a 1,500 year Giant Sequoia Redwood that fell last year after the enormous wildfire in California last year. So my rings will be unique and handmade.☯️

Wow, that would look really cool. I think the wooden rings look nice.
I want to make mine, seems more personal. I need to build a better forge first though. Oh, and find a girlfriend/someone willing to marry me. That's important too.
I was thinking silver if actually a metal, everything else takes a ton of heat. I thought about a bespoke acrylic ring then that had her birth sign in it and all but apparently it needs to be a precious metal ring or "it doesn't count"
