Why can't people respect women's preference or other people's preference/culture for not taking the husband's last name? (Page 2)

Question

There was a question about taking husband's lastname and everyone who does not agree with it, get insulted as feminazi, weirdo etc. First of all it is just a preference. Second of all in some religions and middleeastern cultures it is prefered that women do Not take husband's lastname and it can be even a sin. Third of all, if you can't respect people's preferences or cultures, do not expect from others to respect your (American christian) culture. Would you like it when people called you a weirdo, an American retard, cuntservative, weirdo etc just because you prefere to take your husband's lastname? I am middleeastern but i also live in western country where you both can keep your last names when you marry. The point of marriage is getting support by the state so the young couple do not financially struggle when they get kids. So far i also know it is also disadvantage for men if the partners take their last name due to alimony when divorce happen but i am not sure about this. So why would any man want this if this is true?  I am also sorry for sounding rude and i apologize if i offend anyone with this post.
