Don't see a problem there... It's all about the understanding. If you are okay with it and it helps the most important thing that is your relationship then yes.
why not try it a few years and instead do some volunteering? if you don't like it go get a part time job, i think you might enjoy the free time aslong as you still have other social outlets
Sure, but if working is what's more important to her than being married to him, he's also perfectly within his rights to not marry her and choose someone who wants to stay home... correct?
Say it right. He's within his rights to choose someone who is willing to stay home and take care of the family as he makes enough. Why be salty? Men can have standards.
I imagined what it’d be like to not have anything that needed to be done and it’s not as relaxing as it seems. It’s actually kind of miserable. Like feeding a squid a bowl of Apple Jacks

No she should only do it, if she wants to not because her partner tells her to.
That is up to you. If you want to work, then work. It’s nice to have your own income, needed or not.
That's BS. He just wants to take care of you and make sure you can relax and take it easy. If you want to work, maybe do something remote?
How 'bout he wants her to feel happy and fulfilled instead of deciding what he thinks is best for her.

Sure. He's within his rights to be a controlling douche bag.

Yeah. He can always just order up a Stepford Wife.
Right. I'll take it as a yes then. Good boy :)
Sure, if she wants too. But she should also have a back up plan in case things go south.
I think that's up to her
A husband should ‘want’ her happy.
I didn’t want waste my parents’ moolah for this degree for nothin lol
If you are independent why do you need a man at all
Because well adjusted adults don't get married to find a caretaker.
@Subarugirl then why do you need a husband. Its sort of in the name
You don't need a spouse you chose one because you want one... because you would rather live your life with them rather than with out.
@Subarugirl that's a great response
Ian that like, unhealthy?
I don't understand
Horses got depressed after cars became a thing. Isn’t working mentally healthy?
That's a good point.

I will never ask her too. It's up to her.
