Of course it's normal. The point of arranged arrange is to find a two socially acceptable partners with high compatibility un the hopes that chemistry will grow from the relative hassle free situation when bith families are on board. Since it isn't an affair of passion maximum comfort is key.
I would say that is something I am not comfortable talking about.
