Hugs should not really considered as gifts. Hugs are automatically implied when in a relationship, for various reasons. Subjectively, I really like giving out random little gifts, that include a personal meaning.
All gifts are great though, depending on the situation.

I don’t know why, but I still like getting stuffed animals. Flowers are nice every now and then, and small little gifts are a nice I’m just thinking of you kind of gift, but, even at 31, I still like when my boyfriend gives me a stuffed animal.
