I’m buying my first laptop soon... what are some things I should do once I receive it?

I don't know I’m planning on decorating it with a couple stickers first, but what else? And what are some helpful softwares/downloads I should get?

Getting a MacBook means you like debt and a shitty company, refund it and get a cheap 300$ laptop that beats a 1500$ macbook. Who cares that's it's easier to use but nothing and I mean NOTHING is free, on windows you can download music on MacBook pay Spotify or iTunes music for a monthly fee. It's your choice but it's still the worst one out of 4 options.

reinstall the OS, it will be a lot faster that way. then get drivers from windows update. Assuming you are on Windows

If you want to get a MacBook get one. But in my experience, MacBooks aren't nearly as good as a similarly priced windows laptop.
