To be honest, I think that food looks better on all black plates or clear ones. But for what you're looking into, you could easily get a simple white bowl, gold acrylic paint and a stencil to create a matching bowl. You'd need an epoxy or varnish to set it. But make sure that it's food safe.

That's a good question.
Maybe a stripe? It's more advanced design, mixing patterns, but it modernizes decorating today, and can look very interesting to the eye.
