  • My favorite book of all time is the Count of Monte Cristo...I love how detailed the thinking and revenge process is for the main character, and how there are no details missed. Dumas wrote many great works, but the Count is my favorite.

Other authors I like are Orson Scott Card, Tolkein, George R. R. Martin (GoT is great, but he's written other good stuff too!) Charles Dickens..I could go on forever.

I'll read almost anything I can get my hands on, but I really love books of fantasy. I'm also still enchanted by books intended for younger audiences, such as Redwall and the Bartimaeus trilogy. I am also a huge folklore/mythology nerd, and read a lot of compiled myths and legends.

What Girls Said 9

  • Now I only read books concerning my major,

they are a lot of them that I don't have time to read novels.

But when I was in high school I read a lot of good novels.

Some of them even kept me excited and I had to finish them on the same day.

But I don't know why I don't remember their names now. >_> these were good days lol

Needlessly to mention, the writer is the genius doctor Arthur Conan Doyle.

    - I also read some of Aghatha Christey novels.

    - Men in the Sun novel (again my translation) - this was a tragedy.

    - And some other writers from my culture, you wouldn't know them.

Because I don't think there's an English version for their work. xD

    • there*

Some of my answer got deleted, this is it:

But I don't know why I don't remember their names now.

Also I don't pay attention to the writer's name lol.

One of the novels that I read and I couldn't sleep before finishing them

was a novel called "Yasmina defeats the pirates" (this's my translation)

      - I also read all Sherlock Holmes novels >> These were good days..

    • thank you very much sis :)

    • You're welcome! ^-^

  • My favorite writer is probably Neal Shusterman. He thinks of such weird, interesting, and thought-provoking plots. My favorite book of his is Unwind though I love all of his stuff that I've been able to get my hands on.

But my favorite books are the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordian. I just love mythology so much.
