You only regret the chances you don't take

This relates to so many aspects of life. Take risks, chances, everything, even if you think it won't end up the way you expected. You'll at least be able to say you tried and gave it your best shot, and you won't have that regret of not doing it.

Ex. I got a summer job, met some cool people and there was a guy that I thought disliked me but later realized that he liked me. His friend (one of our coworkers) would try to encourage him to talk to me and ask me out but he never did. I think I sort of ruined that too. I literally thought about it for a while and thought i'd just look him up on facebook and chat with him then eventually ask him out, but changed my mind because he went away to college. So I figured instead I'd just wait until before the summer job starts and after he gets out of college for the semester. Checked and saw he has a girlfriend now... bummer. So that is out of the question now. Next time I will notice the signs and actually do something sooner than later.

Anyways, with that said be un-apologetically you, be brave and adventurous and whatever makes you happy. Don't be afraid to be yourself and PLEASE if there is something you want to do or somewhere you want to go, even someone you want to ask out JUST DO IT! Nothing is worse than regretting it later and dwelling on what could have been. If it doesn't turn out right then there will be plenty of more opportunities. You owe it to yourself.
