Why is communication so integral to our dealings with people?

And by that I mean; I can communicate something super confidently and everyone would put me in the right. I can say something with self-doubt and hesitation and people would put me in the wrong.

Why make it so... nonsensical?

  • Well if you're saying something with self-doubt or hesitation, it pretty much means by definition that you are not completely confident in what you're saying either because you do not believe you are factually correct or because you do not completely believe in what you're telling the other person. This pretty much automatically makes the other person doubt what you're saying since you yourself doubt it. So it sort of does make sense why they might think you're wrong.
