  • Grey because it sounds more correct to me. "Gray" makes me think of someone dyslexic trying to spell. But both are grammatically correct, "Gray" is just more commonly used on America. US vs UK I believe.

  • This question is just perfect for me.

    I chose Gray for part of my username.

    The color is a reference to the ships I served on when I was in the US Navy.

    It is also the color of my beard.

    I chose the spelling G R A Y because, at the time I established my account on GaG, the movie "50 Shades of Grey" was in theaters and was also dominating the cultural zeitgeist.

    I did not want my online persona to be connected to that piece of fiction.
