Driver side car door has a jamming key problem, any ideas?

The key doesn't insert the whole way into the slot and there is a struggle for it to go in clean as if it's being blocked by something and needs to Jimmy it in.
My passenger side goes in and turns without any issues what so ever
Any ideas?

  • They have key oil and grease you can use for key locks. Maybe that might help. Also make sure the key hole is straight when you enter. Try to do it slow and don't rush it when you turn it. In winter sometimes the key holes freeze up.
