1) Carcharocles Megalodon
This giant prehistoric shark lived from 25 to 1.8 million years ago. However the most interesting thing about this predator was the fact that it was the largest predator to ever live. The shark grew to be around 59 feet long, and some say even up to 70 feet long. That is the length of a Greyhound bus.
Even more spectacular were its jaws. It was around 7 feet wide by 7 feet long so it could swallow you whole. It had 8 inch long teeth. That is the size of your hand, and could fit 46 teeth in the front with about 204 more in the back waiting to flip forward to continue eating. They were heavily serrated, and wide like a giant steak knife. It could take down large whales using these teeth.
The more insane thing was the shark could bite with more than 50,000 pounds of force, and could have done more since sharks thrust their heads to amplify their bites. With a jaw power like that you can bite through a Mack truck.
Fortunately this giant creature went extinct 1.8 million years ago. Otherwise we did have a creature that could fit a Tyrannosaurus Rex head into its mouth swimming in our oceans. That did be terrifying.

70% of the earth is covered in water. Out of that 70%, 7% is fresh water. 5% of the fresh water is frozen in icebergs. That leaves 2% of fresh water that can be used. We use it for everything; flushing our toilets, washing our cars/dishes, showers, filling up swimming pools, etc.
