  • "grieve. so that you can be free to feel something else".

    - Nayyirah Waheed

    "There are no happy endings.
    Endings are the saddest part,
So just give me a happy middle
    And a very happy start".

    - Shel Silverstein

I could never choose between these two poems, but as an artist I adore Nayyirah Waheed more.

  • My heart shall be
    The faithful compass
    That still points to you.

What Girls Said 8

  • "Life doesn't discriminate, between the sinners and the saints. it takes and it takes and it takes but we keep living anyways. We rise and we fall and we break and we make our mistakes. If there's a reason I'm still alive when so many have died, I'm willing to wait for it"

  • I know not if there is a reason
Why I am so sad at heart.
    A legend of bygone ages
Haunts me and will not depart.

The air is cool under nightfall.
The calm Rhine courses its way.
The peak of the mountain is sparkling
    With evening's final ray.

The fairest of maidens is sitting
    So marvelous up there,
    Her golden jewels are shining,
    She's combing her golden hair.

She combs with a comb also golden,
And sings a song as well
    Whose melody binds a wondrous
    And overpowering spell.

In his little boat, the boatman
Is seized with a savage woe,
He'd rather look up at the mountain
Than down at the rocks below.

I think that the waves will devour
    The boatman and boat as one;
And this by her song's sheer power
    Fair Lorelei has done.

  • Favorite one of all time : Demain, dès l'aube by Victor Hugo. You can read it in English here (https://www. frenchtoday. com/french-poetry-reading/poem-demain-des-l-aube-hugo)

I also love Poema 20 by Pablo Neruda. I think I'm in love with the way this man writes. English version here (https://albalearning. com/audiolibros/neruda/poema20-sp-en. html)

  • I hate poetry

  • "Mirrors are just glass and you're more than that"

  • (not really into poetry but I like this one)

There is a love I reminisce
    like a seed
    I've never sown

Of flips that I am yet to kiss
    and eyes
    not met my own

Hands that wrap around my wrists
    and arms
    that feel like home

I wonder how is it i miss
    this things
    I've never known..

  • it's when we've lost everything we're free to do anything

what will your god do for you that you won't do for yourself

you have to consider the possibility that god does not like you. never wanted you. in all probability, he hates you. that's not the worst that could happen.

Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

i will burn the world for her

The little poets sing of little things:
    Hope, cheer, and faith, small queens and puppet kings;
Lovers who kissed and then were made as one,
And modest flowers waving in the sun.

The mighty poets write in blood and tears
And agony that, flame-like, bites and sears.
They reach their mad blind hands into the night,
    To plumb abysses dead to human sight;
To drag from gulfs where lunacy lies curled,
Mad, monstrous nightmare shapes to blast the world.
    ― Robert E. Howard

    • The Panther
His gaze against the sweeping of the bars
has grown so weary, it can hold no more.
To him, there seem to be a thousand bars
and back behind those thousand bars no world.

The soft the supple step and sturdy pace,
that in the smallest of all circles turns,
moves like a dance of strength around a core
in which a mighty will is standing stunned.

Only at times the pupil’s curtain slides
up soundlessly — . An image enters then,
goes through the tensioned stillness of the limbs —
and in the heart ceases to be.

  • My First Time
    by Alex

    The sky was dark
    The moon was high
    All alone
    Just her and I
    Her hair so soft
    Her eyes so blue
    I knew just what
    She wanted to do
    Her skin so soft
    Her legs so fine
    I ran my fingers
    Down her spine
    I didn't know how
    But I tried my best
    To place my hand
    On her breasts
    I remember my fear
    My fast beating heart
    But slowly she spread

    Her legs apart
    And when she did it
    I felt no shame
    All at once
    The white stuff came
    At last it's finished
    It's all over now
    My first time
    Milking a COW!

  • I want to become immortal, then die

  • The Raven is my favorite poem.

  • If Vodka was water,
    And I was a duck,
    I'd swim to the bottom,
    And never go up,
    But Vodka's not water,
    And Im not a duck,
    So pass me the bottle,
    And shut the fuck up!
