I think people often associate black culture with a very fixed likes and characteristics... and the millions of black people in America all have different backgrounds, likes, dislikes, and so on.
So, it's natural that a lot of people aren't all into the same thing.
Stereotypical things about black culture: rap, sagging jeans, sneakers, acting 'hard', etc. And that's just not the life for many African Americans, and it shouldn't be how black culture is defined because that was never the culture of all black people and it never will be.
