Does anyone else feel like they don't relate or get along with people their age? (Page 2)

I don't relate as in I don't drink, or party, or rave, or glued to my phone as much as some, or techno music,

and the fact that I'd assume a lot of people my age know little about minor league baseball history

Yes I do, I feel the same way you do... I am the 2nd youngest of 7 and I grew up being told 'to grow up'. Ever since then its changed me to become more different and mature and that I get along with people way older than me

Nothing wrong with that I was the same and a fair few of my friends are too. Sometimes you just click with older people and feel more comfortable.

I haven't felt like I relate or get along with people my age since middle school. I've also been told many times that I have an old soul.

Yes I so agree! I'm the same way I hate people like my age they are so immature and childish. Very selfish also. I get along great with older people and that's why my boyfriend is older than me

That's because your very mature people your age can't relate to you because mentally your so much more advanced than your peers

Yep, me. I'm not mature, or even feeling like an adult enough to talk to them. I get along more with people younger.

Same for me, can't really relate to people my age and I usually get easily bored with them. I get along better with people 10 to 15 years older than me, always been like this.

I know what you mean. There are some exceptions to the rule, but yea, totally get what you're saying

Probably because you are too mature for your age and that kind of maturity is rare in teenagers. Thus older and wise people attracts you more.
