  • Yes! Let's celebrate the ancient Pagan holiday by getting drunk, crossdressing, and burning down a tree!

Sounds like a lot more fun to me anyways, so lets to motha fucka. Lets listen to some Metal too.

    • 1d

Remember kids! A Christmas tree is legit a tree that was murdered by being sawed down 3/4 of the way, brought into some room, and then have cute little colorful decorations thrown on it, and even sometimes has people dancing and singing around it like "fuck you!" :D Imagine if the same thing was done to a baby, this is how the rest of the forest feels! Remember that! :D

  • Love Christmas times. Just too cozy and warm

I disagree you still believe in Christmas because because every time this year you give presents to everyone around the world in the form of bombs! Wait a minute Santa is Muslim! 😂

    • 1d

there are good muslims, then there are bad ones dude. just because one christian is a good person, doesn't mean another one is

    • 1d

@vald9inches Dude, I gotta level with ya, I think I'd rather a bomb than the present of a a toy with a secret camera for some priest that my family is still good friends with. Check yourself. :) With Christianity, boisterous fist fighting, violence, death, etc over dumb little objects after the one day of supposedly being thankful is not exactly the greatest thing ever, much less are the Christian terrorists that existed way before 9/11 bombing churches, gunning down churches, and mass terrorism of thousands of people over nothing. If anything, Christianity is the #1 religion of terrorists. makes sense, given it's infiltration of paganism origins. Ya got no room to rag on muslims before christians check themselves 1000x over. Though, if you laugh, ignore, smirk, etc at what I said as expected, then please, continue spending grossly for Christmas, as us Jews are the ones raking in that cash ya know ;)

  • Waste of time and money.
Plus it's a great time of year for idiots to claim how happy they are, when in fact they are beyond depressed because of the many problems life has put upon their heads.
Holidays are no different from reality shows starring Kardashians or other similar idiots.

Yeah, how dare they try to be happy once when they should have a shitty life all the time!

    • Show All
    • 1d

Yeah, just do nothing to try to feel better for once, it's better to be sad all the time than at least try to change it.
At least, they try, and some even succeed. While, with your advice, you just spend another shitty day as the 364 other shitty days you've spent because you didn't even try.

    • 1d

@Guanfei You're terribly missing my point here. That is why I will restrain from further justification of my attitude. Have a nice day.

  • Don't celebrate it, it means aboustly nothing to me just another day of the year.
    Everything about it is dumb.
by the way presents are dumb why spend money one someone when you can spend money on yourself and they can do the same. Otherwise one ends up paying more price on the present then it is unfair to the other person.

But free days off are good also just cause i find Christmas dumb don't mean i ain't gonna throw a party and get wasted.

  • I'm in the winter party spirit, but I don't celebrate Christmas and Easter. I hasn't done it since I was 13, because I left Christianity at that time. I became an atheist and stayed it for some years before converting again to my own religion. I celebrates fun, family, life and that the days would be sunnier again when heading to summer time during that time. After Christmas time the transition from winter to summer starts.

I still buys and gets gifts, eats the same food and do things with my family although I don't celebrate Christmas. I do also sing on semi-Christmas songs that hasn't anything to do with Jesus to do.

  • Ever since I left home and started my own life I really haven't been into it. Being in the military, running my own businesses, and then becoming a cop, it's just another day to me.
I have worked most of the holiday's and have been on my own for them. So, the whole Jingle Bells, Dashing Through The Snow, thing hasn't really ever caught me.

The closest I've ever come to actually getting in the spirit was several years ago when I was in a relationship. It was nice, but I could tell she wasn't really the one for me. The following February it ended as she also knew it wasn't really working. So, maybe there is something in the cards when you are with someone. Until then, it's just another day.

@TripleAce I know what your saying.
I am talking to someone at the moment. But, it's extreme long distance at the moment. It's working though. We know more about each other than anyone, and talk daily.

My work schedule makes it near impossible to meet anyone. I have an odd schedule, and work nights. Right now, I wouldn't trade the E-LDR I have for anything.

  • Not really, but I’ll have to brave the mall at some point this weekend, we’ll see if it gets me more or less into it lmao

    • 1d

Your a pagan and the greatest Christmas movie is "Elf", made by a wholly Jewish-Abrahamic production; Holloywood...

Are you into Wicca and/or watch worship the show vikings and wear a Mjolnir necklace? If so then your not a "pagan"!

    • 1d

@FreshOutaIdeas i am not into wicca and Vikings is a cut rate game of thrones but that has nothing to do with my religion

    • 1d

Well I'm glad your aware of that at least. Tell me which pantheon you adhere to then, and do you view the deities in the same Abrahamic vein? As in do you view "the God's" as supernatural omniscient/omnipresent deities like the Christian YHWH?

If not, then I'm curious to hear your ways.

  • Not really, which is strange because usually I love Christmas. I'm just not really feeling it this year. It's been a tough year for me so I guess that's why. Although the year seems to be ending on a good note so maybe I'll feel more "cheerful" by the time Christmas is actually here.

  • When I was young I loved Christmas (for the obvious reasons.) Now Christmas just feel like another lame ass day. Everytime we get to the end of the year I get this sad feeling of Daja vu. I'm reminded of when my dog rapidly got sick and died of kidney failure. And this HORRIBLE TOXIC relationship I was in. My boyfriend was getting beat by his adopted parents and I kept telling him to reach out for help. He told me he was going to kill himself and I broke down devastated that someone could be that broken inside. I woke up every day worried thst he wouldn't be on this earth anymore. And then when I broke up with him because his depression began to get so severe he was drowning me along with him; he acted like I never cared, then pushed me away.😂

So every Christmas I'm just reminded of these feelings which is why now I fucking hate Christmas.

There is there is always going to be challenges & sad events that make life hard to move forward. But there is so much to be grateful for too. So much to find joy in. You just have to find those things that you have an interest in. Don't focus on these things that have slowed you down.

  • Totally! I am addicted to buying Christmas presents for my two kids. I was just at a Christmas tea party, singing Christmas carols. Our tree was up the weekend after Thanksgiving.
