*fear* I don't fear them. What kind of typo was that?
And? What makes you think there aren't people all around you illegally carrying firearms? Remember, if they're not naked, they could have a firearm, even if it's illegal.
Cuz she lives in a country without guns, Silly!
So do I, we just have a lot of stabbings instead, and more recently acid attacks.
@HereIbe His comment was sarcastic.
@Hereble The presence of guns doesn't scare me, the sight of them does. I know every police officer has a gun, and probably so does a lot of other people too. That doesn't scare me. But countries where they openly carry guns everywhere, that scares me.
And in WHICH countries do "they openly carry guns everywhere"? DO TELL!So, basically, you'd be okay surrounded by armed people so long as they were practicing concealed carry.
@HereIBe What kind of drugs you be taking?
@SparkleAngelic, "reality". Try it, some time, instead of your paranoid, lunatic fantasies.
I'm guessing meth.
@SparkleAngelic I'm confused where the drugs come into place here?
@Herelbe. "WHICH countries do "they openly carry guns everywhere"? -The United States of A."So, basically, you'd be okay surrounded by armed people so long as they were practicing concealed carry?"-No. Some people believe it is WRONG to carry openly or concealed, UNLESS, said person is a police officer. Period.

Your government has guns, are you afraid of your government?
Bananaman177. If you knew what I know, the last thing you would be worried about is my government having guns.
@HereIbe : You are ignoring the fact, that where guns have stricter controls, there are fewer guns, and fewer people walking around with them. In many countries, very few people carry guns. It's in America where so many people have this almost insane need for ever more guns, that makes for every more deaths, that makes for ever more guns, that makes for ever more deaths, and on and on.
@markscott Yeah but that's not true, Mark. The truth is that 98% of gun-related crime in the US is inner-city gang violence. If you take gang shootings out of American gun crime statistics, America has the same number of gun homicides as Luxembourg and Belgium. You're ignoring the REAL gun problem so you can prattle on about an imaginary one because you get imaginary brownie points from imaginary people. You should be in an insane asylum, but instead you're the new normal.
@marks Scott it’s actually the opposite where In countries where gun laws are stricter, there is more death by bioldent crime.
@HereIbe : Do you understand plain English language. Guns everywhere, does not mean everybody has a gun. I think you more correctly fit the name 'moron' that you mentioned. And it's plain fact, proven, that the more guns a community has, the more deaths the community has.
@markscott, Amen. But @HereIbe, I don't even understand why you're upset, like not all countries can carry guns. If you look it up, you'll see not all countries have guns, but only the officers do.

What branch were you?
Are you American?
by the way When you have a completely disarmed populace is1. The place where tyranny because of unchecked power has always grown and is most likely to grow.2. A place where someone who has attained a firearm illegally is able to go on a rampage like we saw in Paris where 7 people managed to kill 300, and where no one who has a weapon can defend you by proxy
True. And what's the best defense against an assailant with a gun?
@Lliam Well, since just about every gun in existence right now is a mechanical device and requires no electricity to run, the only way to defend against an enemy combatant with a gun is either with something that incapacitates the shooter, be it a gun or a taser, or a barrier of some kind. If one is lacking for a weapon of their own, short of cowering behind cover and throwing steak knifes at your assailant, you're kind of screwed.
You are subjected to propaganda. Your government and media exaggerate and sensationalize gun violence in the U. S. and give biased information in order to get you to support gun bans in your country. How else can a government restrict your rights than to make you believe that it's for your own good?
Im not saying that people do do that a lot and im aware that it doesn't happen as much as many believe but the school shooting stats speak for themselves when you compare the uk or Australia to the US.
Bingo. THIS. Fear of powerful machinery is the beginning of wisdom for many boys--and girls, from lawn mowers to chainsaws to cars to guns.
@Curmudgeon What's the prize for winning at Bingo? ... lol
First you have a healthy respect for what a gun can do and the responsibility that comes with having a gun. Second, you refuse to be a victim of any creep looking to do you harm.
I love your answer. Well said. I couldn't agree more.
Agreed, but listen to your illogic.
I would rather not associate with people who own guns.
@Guardian45 how come?
@Guardian45 your choice. I mean isn't that what life associated with. Choices. And I would not bother to try to convince you either. your right. your ways.
@Berserk945. Because I don't need guns or people who enjoy or own guns in my life. My choice. Period.
@Guardian45 dude what your point lol look you acting like this shit is personal. you dont like my respond block me or whatever will help your overly strong need to make a point. You seem to always comment on my posts. You dont like they dont read them. not that big of a deal. my father is also military. I think his goal was to make sure his girls to not fear anything and to enjoy life with little fears?I also respond back to you saying I didn't need to try to convince you otherwise yet here you are trying to convince me or make me feel like missing something in my life. Please.
I see no reason whatsoever for an ordinary to have or use a gun. None.
@Guardian45 yeah I agree.
Guess your life has never been in danger by an armed attacked. Lucky you.
@selfdestruction me or the asker?
I guess both. I was in the Marine Corp. I can take apart, clean, out back together, and fire and M-16 with my eyes clothed. Why shouldn’t I be able to have an ar-15?
@selfdestruction I don't know about the asker but I certainly don't have that risk in my country.
Your country has no bad people?
@selfdestruction I was referring to armed attack you said earlier. Of course there are bad people in every country lol!
I’m glad your country has no knife or gun crime. Mine does. I’m thankful for my right to protect myself
@selfdestruction umm I meant gun or rifle. Its impossible not to have knife?
@selfdestruction Rah devil. ____A gun has saved my life as a civilian. It’s like a fire extinguisher. You don’t expect a fire to happen, but it’s nice to have when one breaks out.
So you do have armed attackers. I had a man pull a knife on me. Thank god I had a gun.
@selfdestruction good for you then!
@Bananaman177 same regiment too! And he was a green jacket too
Just so you know, the books are so much better than the movies.
@Bananaman177 I know. Read them all 😉
The "Master and Commander" books are great too.If you say you already read those, I'm going to fucking propose to you.
@Bananaman177 I never finished the series. I stopped at The hundres days
So, police should be disarmed...
I shot expert too 💪🏼
What amount of people? How is it known they are not mentally sound? What would the right amount of sound be? How would that be determined?
Lol. Do you realize how ridiculous your questions are?1) Let it sink in that there are more guns in households than there are people in America. The common excuse is that they’re afraid of getting shot or are defending their families from threats which are HIGHLY unlikely to happen to them. It’s paranoia and it tends to lead to more accidental deaths than defending their families2) It is NOT known that some people aren’t mentally sound: that’s the problem. Mental health checks every six months for every gun owner.If you’re asking how do I know? A gun owner told me that he helped his friend with schizophrenia who is NOT on medication get a gun. Think about how messed up that is.3) ANY mental health issue including depression. Why would you want someone WITH such issues to have or gain access to a gun?4) See 2 about requiring mental health checks on every owner. You want to make people or your family feel safe? Then ensure that only those who are mentally fit and shoot regularly have access to guns. It’s feel a lot safer if Everyone who owned a gun was checked to be mentally fit
BRAVO! I don't think I could say things as succinctly as you. Per chance, are you married or single? LOL!
I'd feels far more safe if drivers were checked for mental capcity. After all significantly more people are killed and or maimed annually by reckless drivers. Where is the outcry?
@MannMitAntworteh. Where I live, those people are being removed.
@Guardian45 My country is taking a sifferent direction and giving licenses to drive even to the illegal alien.
@MannMitAntworteh. Don't people won't be driving much longer.
Mostly I agree with you. Mostly well-said.
Also, I should point out that it's not guns that concern me, but rather the *undisciplined owner* that has me concerned. A fearful person without a gun will simply run away. A person conditioned to feeling safer with a gun, is more likely to have an incident if deprived of their arms.Think of the scene in Pulp Fiction where the Robbers run into actual killers. Killers are killers, guns or no, so having the gun or not usually doesn't have a bearing on whether they are more or less likely to kill you. Samuel Jackson & John Travolta (SJ more than JT) did a great job depicting that character - whilst everyone else was terrified of the robbers waving guns around, they were just like "two little fonzies"(and I would expect most police & military are kind of in that same "behaviour bracket"; an idiot starts doing that, it's just kind of instinct to wait for that chance idiots always give them).But think about the performances of the robbers, after their "power" of having the gun is stripped away; they act psychologically devastated, and if only *one* of the armed individuals is disarmed, the others definitely react (much as the freaked out robber gets once her "huney" is under the arms of the actual killers...
I work as a reserve deputy with a local sheriffs department. Part time volunteer cop for better words.
The 1911? Well these were confiscated. Not mine. I agree though.
It looks a mess, hopefully it will find a good home.
Did something happen?
no I just have an irrational fear of them
Oh good okay. Sorry they do that to you.
Over 80 million lawful gun owners and falling into the wrong hands is mostly what happens? There are around 11,000 annual firearm related homicides. The FBI estimates that 80% of those are gang related. I doubt if gang members get their guns legally. So, at the very, very most, 80,000 lawful gun owners are responsible for 2,200 annual homicides. That means that there is a 0.00275% chance of a lawful gun owner killing anyone.And, in reality, there is about a 0.0034% chance of an American citizen being killed with a gun. A student has about a 0.00001% chance of being killed in a classroom. The situation isn't nearly as dangerous as the news and the Gun Control Lobbyists would have people believe.
@Lliam i understand. What I mean is these gangsters and the corrupt police which has made crime a business. At night first deal with dacaits and robbers to commit crime and by day filling complaints and taking a cut from innocent victims
Ah. I see what you're saying, AmeerX. Yes. I agree.
