Only six US states and PR will allow you to be an anonymous lottery winner. So you really don't have that option in most of the country.
I know. I did a bit of research a few years ago. There are ways to do it anonymously. You have to hire a few lawyers to do it though. I can’t remember how you do it though anymore. All I know is that it can be done, but you gotta pay up for some lawyer fees to do it. Supposedly it’s worth it depending on how much you made. If it’s millions of dollars it’s worth it.
I think you'd have to get 100 mil to be able to spend fairly freely and you have to hire management people like CPA, lawyer and investment pros. If it's just 10 mil you'd have to be fairly careful. If it's only 1 mil, you'd have to be frugal. You could do things like take care of your home and do a few improvements and get a decent car (a subaru!!) and travel some. But other than that and a few gifts to family and close friends, you couldn't do much.
@Dark93 Do you play the lottery often, which country may I ask too?
I don't play often. Its just something my coworkers and I speculate about when the lottery gets really high.
Good luck, hope you win big or win small someday
It'd be nice to take that Pagani out for a spin.
You can't drive those things fast enough anywhere but the autobahn. So they're kind of useless.
