Like the different accents from Northern England always make me think of Tough men and women, much more so than the southern accents.

  It's like that here too, I can barely understand northern irish accents sometimes. They sound more Scottish than anything to me.

I’m a born and bred Londoner, therefore it won’t come as a surprise that I find northern accents rough; however the two that I hate the most is the Geordie accent; do you remember that children’s TV series titled Byker Grove?, in it was a girl character namely ‘Spuggy, yet the Geordies pronounce it as ‘Spoooga’, illiterate fools. The other I hate is the Yorkshire accent; the illiterate fools in this region pronounce money as moona.
