My neighbor who is Korean, says he can't tell the difference between Chinese, Mongolian, or Korean appearance. He said in the past it was easier because of clothing styles, but now he says he can't. He says generally Koreans look more like Mongolians. I noticed more Koreans have lighter brown eyes than other East Asians I've met and more brown tinted hair. I know Europe gets a wrap for most eye and hair diversity, but are there more subtle differences for East Asians? I noticed Vietnamese have a little darker skin tone, though a Korean Woman I know tans about the same. Is it generally less or am I unaware of some differences?
