Is it a good thing my boss is upfront with me - he doesn't really hide anything / can have some rather honest chats - or with a wife a bad thing?

I am not sure when they married / their relation per se. I think it may be something more along the lines of a convenience & common law than anything as there's times when she acts very, very petty towards me (=jealousy) which if she was confident in their relation shouldn't really exist.

Keep in mind those thinking bad with the boss it's not flirting or anything. It's field/profession & business talk. I am smart enough to keep up with him.

Nope. Not at all. Give an honest as to why I was on my phone - delivery driver was dropping something off at my car and had my keys - and the dumb bitch has me sign paperwork saying no cell phones. Most people would've said okay reasonable answer and left it at that.

Don't really care. Have another job. She's going to cost him his best of three good workers and in time cost him part of his business if happens.

Well, that's what they deserve then. Treat your workers poorly, get poor results.
I don't blame you. I had a similar experience in which the company fired us for pretty much reasons like "I just personally don't like you, so I'll be a butthole in authority". So me and a coworker got laid off, then some more team members left and voila, the project literally failed and shut down. And the clients are Germans in Germany in my hometown! I don't advise against outsourcing but damn, what a decision they made.
