- I went with a baseball bat for the simple reality that often it could be stowed away in a convenient area, it’s not something that can easily run out, it reduces the risk of me injuring myself or somebody who is unintended to be injured, it is effective as has been seen throughout much of our history, and it allows me mobility that I may not have with the other weapons while at the same time giving me flexibility in its use.
Plus without having an actual scenario behind the danger its kind of hard to know which weapon would be the best weapon for the situation. So at that point one would think to just pick a weapon that they would be comfortable with and can maneuver with in a comfortable way so that way they can deal with whatever the situation may be.
Plus if I know I’m in danger, but I don’t know what it is i’m in danger from I would like to give myself the best odds of running away and potentially fending off/killing what ever it is so I can continue to run away.
For me a revolver runs out and shoots further than people think so you may have some civilian issues if it’s something larger than life like a bear a simple revolver ain’t cutting it.
A med kit is great and sure I can facet some sort of crude weapon, but for that why not just take something that is a weapon if I’m not injured and make my goal running away.
Lastly if I have enough time to open a box of matches in which I have no idea of their condition to light and fumble around in the dark to light it. Then I certainly have enough time to run away. For that I’d rather just grab the bat and begin running.
Well that’s my two cents of logic in it. I hope I’ve answered your question as best I can.0|00|0Is this still revelant?

- Baseball bat. The medkit would be useless in a fight. I would have to be in a safe location to use it in the first place. Matches would be a poor choice because I might not be able to control the fire or the weather might not be right. The revolver only has 6 rounds and I do not know how many opponents I am fighting or for how long I must fight. The baseball bat can be used to fend off multiple opponents, will not run out and I can use it to make a fire if needed. Without more specifics on the situation, I choose the baseball bat.0|00|0Is this still revelant?

- MedKit. I’m alone so the threat can’t be a person. There’s no one to shoot. A bat is useless unless there’s someone to hit with it. Matches aren’t 100% necessary to start a fire. A medKit is irreplaceable in nature. I couldn’t just make my own.1|00|0Is this still revelant?
Additionally the things you need for survival are ordered this way: air, shelter, water, food (Fire is a part of shelter, water, and food but doesn’t really stand alone) That’s in order of import. A medkit should be prioritized because if you’re bleeding out, your body is being deprived of oxygen, putting bandages and tourniquets squarely in the air category.

And I know it doesn’t sound right but... Shelter comes before water because you will die of hypothermia faster than you’ll die of dehydration. So you have to put shelter before water.
A Swiss Army knife is multi use and it’d be very helpful, yet I’d still rather have the medkit.
- Baseball bat. Revolver can run out fast, the bat doesn’t.0|00|0Is this still revelant?

Then you need to freaking specify the issue. One cannot properly choose an item if one doesn’t know what’s going on. Leaving it open ended, then shutting off people’s choices, makes no damn sense.
Yet you told me there wouldn’t be a need for a weapon, as I’m totally alone. So clearly there is a right and wrong answer, otherwise you wouldn’t have a need to correct me.
Try to structure your social experiment a bit better next time.

117- Depends upon the type of danger. Matches are great if I am "in danger" of freezing and there is sufficient combustible material nearby. If I am "in danger" because I am surrounded by a pack of wild animals then the bat so I can inflict pain on a few, have them yelp, and scare the others off. If I have an injury that could be life-threatening, then a good med kit. If the danger is a couple of guys with knives I'll take the revolver provided it is a working model and that the bullets are for that specific handgun.0|00|0
- Revolver with 6 bullets.

My bag at home is a complete combat ready medkits, with survival gear, improvised weapons, drone, and binoculars. It's designed for urban warfare, and civil unrest.0|00|0
