Is it just me or is there a lot more virgins now then there were a few years ago?

I've seen more now than a few years ago, im guessing its cause social media is messing with peoples social skills and well with no social experience then its would make sense if it reduces their sexual experience cause they have a hard time socializing

I do have a hard time socializing at times due to being an introvert and trusting people to open up to but I've still had guys wanna date me and like me but i just never got to that point with anyone because the relationship failed due to them cheating or not being committed so that's big reasons why i still have mine. I believe social media does play a factor but then again, its also harder these days finding someone who matches your values and morals so here we are.

I think we've shifted into more independent individuals within the last few years to be honest with you. Most people don't feel the pressure anymore to do a certain thing just because everybody else is. Diversity is being celebrated today more than ever before, and more of us are encouraged to do what we are happiest and most comfortable doing.

To be fair tho what u say wouldn't be too far fetched with online dating being the most used form of dating many are loosing out on the confidence and social skills needed for dating

yes which I've noticed, mostly with the long ass quarantine, people are losing their skill being all scared of others and shit

I actually rhink there are less around these days. Gone are the days of marriage then sex.

I have or had (pre covid) a big social life and many opportunities to sleep with a lot of people and I haven't because of my morals and beliefs towards sex, love and my body. Everyone is different and it doesn't mean you have lack of social skills

I wouldn't blame social media. People just became more open and comfortable sharing personal stuff like that, possible less embarrassed regarding their experiences or lack of.
