Was this just common sense or is it a gift I have?

A couple years ago I was exhausted from work and standing besides a tree. Even though the tree was stable, I suddenly had a bad feeling. I don't know why. I stepped back several feet, getting away from there.

Slightly less than a minute later, two huge limbs fall at exactly where I was standing before. Needless to say that scared the hell out of me. I had a couple weird things happening, not as major as that one but many times I've guessed right.
Was this just common sense or is it a gift I have?
