Unlike humans, animals aren't envious, bitter etc. Humans cause a whole lot of hurt and pain on this earth daily.

Unlike humans, they aren't kind for the sake of kindness, compassionate or philanthropic either. Some humans are indeed greedy and cause harm to nature when they gain no direct or immediate benefit from it? Point me to any animal that plants entire forests, knowing that they won't even live in them to begin with and will not see them teeming with life for at least several decades. Point me to another animal that tries to safeguard almost extinct species until they can reproduce back to normal numbers.

My point is - yeah, we suck but we also have the capacity for enormous good.

Also, I think it ironic that the atheist here glorifies the good in people whereas the Christian is the jaded cynic who does not like his fellow man. Wouldn't Jesus be agains that?

As a cat-lover I have to disagree. Cats are for intelligent people, they can be just as loyal and loving, provided you've bonded with them properly. Their allegiance doesn't come for free like with dogs, and I like that.

That's why dogs are better. Don't feed your cat and see what happens? Cats aren't loyal. Nothing and I mean nothing on earth is as loyal and loving as a dog. A dog shows God's love.

Forgive me but you are wholly wrong. I have had cats my entire life and none of them has turned back on me for not feeding them. They've comforted me when I've been down, they follow me around if we cross paths outdoors. A cat can be as obedient as a dog if it *wants* to be, but they aren't mindlessly faithful, they have their own will, just as humans do. An owner who deserves it will have their love and loyalty just as with dogs.

I'm not saying that dogs aren't loyal, they are. But it's so silly how people who prefer dogs always must insist that cats aren't loyal at all as if they aren't allowed to be as good as dogs.
